Why do I need to be saved?
Everyone needs to be saved. Sin is the culprit. This is because our sin separates us from a holy God. Everyone sins (Romans 3:23, 3:10) and the penalty for sin is eternal spiritual death . . . which is a separation from God in Hell (Romans 6:23).
What made it possible for me to be saved?
Being sinners, we can do nothing to remedy the situation (Ephesians 2:8-9). So, Jesus Christ, God’s Son, took on human flesh, lived perfectly holy, and died in our place (Romans 5:8). The victory over sin’s death grip was complete when Jesus rose from the dead three days later (Romans 6:9).
Why does God want me to be saved?
Simply put, God loves you! God’s love for you was so intentional that He sent Jesus Christ to die in your place (1 John 4:10, John 3:16).
How can I be saved?
Here is the great news. When you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and rose again in victory . . . you are saved (Romans 10:9). This is what we call faith. It is by God’s grace that He offered this gift and through our faith, that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
What difference will it make if I am saved?
After you are saved, God begins a work in your heart and you begin to live for Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). And of course, ultimately, after this life, you will live in His presence eternally in Heaven (John 14:1-3).
